Fohlenhof Ebbs

The world centre of Haflinger breeding is a large, modern stud with 150 Haflingers, situated in the idyllic village of Ebbs at the foot of the 'Zahmer Kaiser'. 2 indoor riding arenas, stables with approx. 100 boxes and pens for the young horses, a stadium – the Fohlenhof Arena - with seating for over 3,000, as well as an administrative and residential building. Approx. 20 acres of paddock, a driving ground with dressage arena and 6 permanent obstacles round off the stud premises.

The Fohlenhof Ebbs is the most important Haflinger stud in the world and is open to you daily for viewing. From October to May some 150 Haflingers are to be found in the Fohlenhof stables. During the summer months when the young horses are up on the high pastures, it is possible to view the mares with their foals and the covering stallions.

During this period the group still comprises over 100 horses. They include the most famous Haflingers in the world with all the reigning world and European champions of the last 10 years.
